Performances and concerts

Students of the Faculty of Performing Arts participate in the repertoire ballet performances of the Mariinsky Theater: “Anna Karenina”, “La Bayadere”, “Don Quixote”, “Le Corsair”, “The Bronze Horseman”, “Paquita”, Le Reveil de Flore”, “Raymonda”, "A Midsummer Night’s Dream", "The Sleeping Beauty", "Shurale", as well as in concerts at various venues in St. Petersburg and other cities of Russia and foreign countries.

The Mariinsky Theater also hosts two performances completely performed by students of the Academy (with the participation of teachers): Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s ballet “The Nutcracker” (choreography by V. Vainonen) and the ballet "The Fairy Doll” to the music of Joseph Bayer (choreography by K. Sergeyev edited by N. Tsiskaridze).

Every year, in June, graduation performances of the Vaganova Ballet Academy are held at the Mariinsky Theater. The Academy also presents such a performance in Moscow on the stage of the State Kremlin Palace.

Dates of graduation performances in 2023:

Mariinsky Theater - June 8, 10 and 12;

State Kremlin Palace - June 18 and 19.
